Aamir Khan Calls Dharmendra a Gentle Giant, Reveals He Saw Sunny Deol's Lahore 1947_我的网站

A |     Tehran, Oct 20 (UNI) The Iranian Foreign Ministry imposed sanctions on a number of British institutes and individuals for "supporting terrorism and terrorist groups, promoting and instigating terrorism, violence and hate-mongering and violation of human rights."



The ministry on Wednesday issued a statement on its website saying the move was made within the framework of the related legal regulations and sanction mechanisms as well as a "response in kind."



"Iran holds the British government responsible and accountable for supporting terrorists and violators of human rights who organize and instigate rioting and acts of terrorism in Iran from UK soil," said the statement.



The listed entities included the National Cyber Security Center of Britain, the British Government Communications Headquarters, as well as Volant Media, Global Media, DMA Media and anti-Iranian TV channels they support, namely BBC Persian and Iran International, according to the statement.



Iran's sanctions have also targeted several individuals, including British Minister of State for Security Tom Tugendhat, and British military commander in the Gulf Don MacKinnon.



The sanctions will prohibit the targeted individuals from obtaining visas and entering Iran and will freeze their assets and bank accounts inside Iran.



Earlier in the day, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said they will target people and institutes that have played a role in imposing medical sanctions on Iran and promoting "violence and extremism" which have caused insecurity in the country following the death of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini.

UNI/XINHUA PRT。    Aamir Khan recently remembered late actor Dharmendra and called him underrated, despite his mastery over different genres. Speaking at the International Film Festival of India, the actor said, "Well, I've grown up watching him. He was known as the action hero and the He-man. And of course, he was extremely good in portraying these strong characters in action films. But I don't know whether people have really noticed, I think he's underrated."           Khan continued, "His performances in romance or different genres are so great. He's done so well in comedy. My God, he's done amazing comedy, romance, and dramas. According to me, Dharamji was right up there... And what a handsome person."          The actor also expressed his regret over not being able to attend Dharmendra's prayer meet which took place on November 27.     For the uninitiated, Aamir Khan never shared the screen with Dharmendra, but he appeared as a child actor in the film Yaadon Ki Baarat, which starred Dharmendra, Vijay Arora, Tariq Khan and Zeenat Aman among others. Khan also produced Sunny Deol's yet-unreleased film Lahore 1947. The actor revealed that they had the chance to show Dharmendra the film.     "In fact, 'Lahore', the film we've made with Sunny. I had the good fortune of showing him the film, so he's seen the film. It's not released yet, of course, but I was so glad, because this was one of his favourite scripts. So, I'm so glad he got to see the film."     The Lagaan actor further called Dharmendra a great actor and a gentle giant and continued, "Dharamji was not only a fine actor, but he was a great human being. He was so gentle. He was like a gentle giant, and he was very loving no matter who he would meet... He was a great actor, and it's a great loss for all of us. He's really an institution. He had such a command over his language. Unki zubaan itni saaf thi... It was so soft that it was amazing to hear him, even in live events when he would speak... I remember, I was there at the book launch for Yusuf Saab , and there he spoke. He spoke with such dignity. Really, it's a big loss for all of us.
